File formats
Adobe Illustrator saved in version 9.0+ as an illustrator PDF or EPS. Adobe Photoshop 10+ saved either as TIF, PDF, JPG or EPS format. Adobe Acrobat PDF high resolution.

Bleeds and trims
Allow any bleed to bleed off page 0.125”. Allow at least a margin of 0.125” between the live image area and the trim. Miami Art Guide is not responsible for trimming errors in files with improper bleeding settings.

Screen and dots
Allow 20% dot gain in every document to ensure appropriate color density reproduction. MAG prints at 150 lines screen in a sheet fed press. All art should be CMYK with a 300 dpi resolution. Line art (B/W) should be 600 dpi.

Fonts
All font suitcases and screen fonts must be included within the files provided, otherwise outlined. Fonts accompanying files should be put into separated folders. In the case that fonts are missing, Miami Art Guide Magazine will substitute comparable fonts.

Please send as a compressed attachment (i.e. Stuffit or WinZip) to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and indicate advertiser’s name in the subject line. Please supply a printed output of the ad to the production department. For color ads, a high quality digital proof must be provided.

Deadlines
Five days prior to every edition deadline. Please note that it is critical to submit your ad close to the deadline. Do it with enough time in advance. Remember to include a content list of all the images, graphics and fonts together with your file.
