Advertising Sales Account Executive |
Advertising Sales Account Executive at Miami Art Guide will sell print and online advertising for MAG Magazine, as well as for Miamiartguide.com Responsibilities include telephone and in-person sales activities, weekly identification of potential customers and lead generation. This salesperson will be responsible for attending local industry events. Significant work is required generating advertiser proposals and letters, as well as maintaining an accurate and up-to-date lead generation database. Work requires high degree of accuracy.
Candidate must be able to prospect clients, identify decision makers, arrange the sales meetings, present the advertising opportunities, handle all objections and close the sale. Ideal candidates must a have performance driven sales experience with a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service. In addition, candidates should be true self-starters and independent, with strong organizational and computer skills. Training available.

The magazine is currently looking for Freelance Writers to submit article proposals for its upcoming editions. Articles in MAG are clear and informed, properly written, thoughtful and provocative. Internship Opportunity for Writers |

Position: Online Contributor
Pay Range: Non-paying Internship (Although incentives and bonuses are offered for outstanding performance)
Internship Type: Temporary (From 15 weeks to one year)
Work Schedule: Part-time. Up to 20 hours per week
Position Summary:
- Research online calendar for arts and culture sites to gather information on current events.
- Collect press releases, promo materials, and online content from local art institutions of all disciplines in the private and public sector.
- Write, edit and submit content for publication on Miamiartguide.com in the form of art news. (News should be accompanied by one image of 72-dpi resolution and no less than 400 pixels wide.)
- Subscribe to the visited sites' mailing lists.
- Collect and maintain contact information for the visited sites.
- Assist with writing, distributing and follow-up calls related to Miamiartguide.com's content.
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in one or more of the following fields: writing, art (all disciplines), communications, art history, public relations and art administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Internet research skills
- A positive, outgoing attitude
