Coconut Grove Arts Festival

Feb 13th through 15th, 2010

Celebrating its 47th anniversary in 2010, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, is one of the nation’s premier outdoor fine arts festivals. The event attracts more than 150,000 people annually to view the works of over 330 artists and craftsmen.

A signature event of the South Florida’s cultural calendar, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival offers visitors to the event the opportunity to explore the works of exhibiting artists, sample fine cuisine, enjoy live entertainment and take a walk through history. And for the kids, they too can create their own works of art in the Coconut Grove Bank Kids Creative Corner.

Two panels of jurors had been commissioned the task of selecting 336 artists from the more than 1,200 that applied to exhibit. Artists will be traveling from 36 states and 3 countries, including Brazil and Canada.

Proceeds from this annual event help to fund year-round arts programs and benefit the association’s building fund, which will be used to create and operate a permanent home in Coconut Grove for the arts festival.
