The third edition of Art Basel Miami Beach will take place from December 2 to 5, 2004. America’s most important art show is the favorite winter meeting place of the international art world.

180 galleries from the U.S., Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa have been selected to showcase works by over one thousand 20th and 21st century artists.

There will be special sections devoted to one-person shows of young artists, young galleries in shipping containers converted into exhibition spaces, stands with new works of art, a Video Lounge, and art projects in public spaces.

With 40 newly admitted galleries augmenting the already wide variety of art on exhibition, this year’s Art Basel Miami Beach promises the most star-studded line-up yet. An exciting program of special exhibitions, visits to private collections, crossover events, and Art Basel Conversations with personalities from the international art world round out the wide-ranging program on offer to visitors to Art Basel Miami Beach.
